Elaine Golding has a long history of working in the Public Health Sector at an Executive Level, for example, as Executive Director, Human Resources & Organisational Development at Flinders Medical Centre for almost 6 years and as Director, Workforce Services in the Department of Health.
Elaine has an ongoing interest in ensuring that health services are safe and of a high quality and that they are accessible in an entirely fair and equitable manner. As a result of Elaine's career in health she has a substantial knowledge of the State and Commonwealth Health Systems and in particular of health policy, clinical governance, health management, reform of health care and of consumer experiences and needs.
Elaine also has a strong social justice background and has worked in Correctional Services. As a result she has an ongoing passion for ensuring equity of access to consumers who are marginalised or significantly disadvantaged, for example, those in correctional custody.
As an Executive member of the (then) Department of Health, SA, Elaine was also the Executive Lead for the State’s response and commitment to implementing the Cultural Respect Framework for Aboriginal Health. Elaine also has significant experience of health system and health workforce redesign.
Elaine is currently the Director of her own consulting company, momentum Organisational Solutions and includes a range of health, community and aged care service providers amongst her clients.
Finally, Elaine is a health consumer and passionate about ensuring that she and other health consumers are provided with high quality, safe and accessible services.
