The 2011-12 State Budget, delivered by Treasurer Jack Snelling today, provides some welcome news for health consumers with the health budget set to reach a record $4.7 billion. HCA wishes to acknowledge the achievements of Ashleigh Moore, from Cancers Voices, and Rosemary Warmington, of Carers SA. Both received honours in the recently announced Australia Day Awards. Rosemary was honoured has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her support for carers. Ashleigh has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to cancer support and community health.
