Stephen has worked as an OHS professional for 30 years in a range of industry sectors, including health, manufacturing, local government, aviation, regulatory authorities, universities and the not for profit sector. His experience is underpinned by his university education in science, social science and health education, as well as public health and occupational health and safety. He is a Chartered OHS Professional and Chartered Fellow of the Safety Institute of Australia.
In his work he has always been committed to and focussed on preventing work-related injury and illness, the incidence of which both impact the health system. He is also a strong advocate for ensuring a greater focus on primary illness and injury prevention in the wider community. Stephen currently undertakes a professional OHS role in the not for profit sector and is also in private practice as an OHS Consultant.
