The Flinders centre for innovation in cancer is hosting a community walk to raise awareness about World Cancer Day. You can stroll or brisk walk around the Flinders University lake, through the pine forest and down to Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer. There will be a light breakfast to follow. World Cancer Day 2018 is a day for our community to come together to show our commitment to making cancer a thing of the past. You can find out more and register to attend here.

Netfest is South Australia's largest professional development and networking event for non-government youth sector workers. The day-long event brings together over a hundred dedicated youth sector workers, stakeholders and supporters from across the state to discuss ideas, projects and inspire best practice. Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) is hosting a Summit which aims to contribute to the development of resolute and effective women leaders in the health sector. The summit will provide opportunities for skills development, expert advice and strategic industry-based networking. Our Introduction to Consumer Advocacy Training session will give you information on the role, challenges and benefits of being a consumer advocate.
The sessions are interactive and based on adult-learning principles. Participants receive reference materials and a certificate of attendance.
