On Monday 30 July HCA hosted the South Australian Ambulance Service (SAAS) Secondary Triage Forum. Twenty-eight consumers and carers who had received a secondary triage service when calling for an ambulance attended the forum to provide feedback on their experience. The forum provided an opportunity for consumers to discuss their expectations, share their experience of the service they received and their overall satisfaction. A summary report will be circulated to the participants and published in our eNews in coming weeks. The Forum is one component of a broader review and planning process for SAAS secondary triage services.
